Happy Birthday to My Little Sister Asha

I don't know where to start, because I don't know when there will be an end.

Almost all of my life we've had each other.

We've laughed together, Cried together, Yelled at each other, And lied to each other.

But there is another thing, too.

I'm not so blind to see, How much you are like me.

In my heart I know that everything I do, Will somehow have an effect on you.

I try so hard to always set a good example,

But I know in the past I have given you bad samples.

Life isn't easy, And when it's not, I wanna be there to guide your way with you.

When I'm torn between choices, I always wonder how each one might effect you today.

I know there've been times when maybe I did the wrong thing, But now I can really see just how careful I need to be.

You'll make mistakes, Take the wrong road instead of the right, But don't ever let people tear you down, Always put up a fight.

Most of all I want you to know, That no matter where I am, What I'm doing, Or who I'm with, If you are in trouble in life, I'll drop everything, and be there in seconds to give you my advice.

I want to say I will end this message with something special,

But it would be a lie, Because there will never be an end, What we have together will never die.

Princess Diamond's Birthday Party Chapter III: Fun and Games

Diamond's party was held at a playcenter in Florence, Alabama. I thought that her parents did an excellent job in selecting this venue. After seeing the children having fun like this (see pics below); I was convinced that selecting a venue with a playcenter is the only way to go!

This was a ton of fun!!! Ahhh.... sometimes I wish I were a kid again...

Princess Diamond's Birthday Party Chapter II: The Cake

What is a birthday party without a cake? What about a cake that was created for you by the loving hands of your loved ones? Well, that is exactly the type of cake that Diamond had for her birthday. It was a scrumptious strawberry cake baked by her lovely grandmother and delightfully decorated by her cousin... Do you wanna see?

Well, if you insist......

In my opinion, this photo really doesn't do the cake justice... I was so impressed with all the details that were put into the cake that can't be clearly seen in the photo above.

Diamond also had a miniature version of this cake for her personal enjoyment... Who can deny the photo opps? (This picture was taken after Diamond has begun dissecting the cake; this is not an accurate account of how it looked prior to this photo...It is the only photo I have...)

The cake was beautiful and equally delicious. I. am. wishing. for. another. piece. right. now. Who says that you have to blow out candles to make a wish?

Princess Diamond's Birthday Party Chapter I: The Centerpieces

My god daughter's first birthday was truly an enchanted event. Everything came together so wonderfully... To sum it all up it was a blessing... I thought that I would never get to share these with you all (very. very.very long story) but alas I present you Chapter One of the photos from Princess Diamond's first birthday.

And this is what the centerpieces looked like as they adorned the tables of the venue where the party was held.
