Come on in and if you have a moment... Get comfy as I recap our Magical Disney Engagement... Enjoy the memories!
Every since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to go to Disney World... However, my mother was a single mother of five and I believed that my dreams of going to Disney mirrored a fairytale more than reality...
Well, almost 25 years later Mr. Falsetto made that dream and many more dreams come true! I have gone on Thanksgiving vacation with his family for the past four years. This past Thanksgiving the family decided to go to Disney! This would become my first trip to Disney and I could not be more excited!!! To add to the adventure; we were celebrating his Father's 60th birthday!
Honestly, an engagement was really the last thing on my mind!!! I was just elated live out one of my life long dreams!
His Father's 60th birthday went off without hitch and lots of lasting memories of were made! As the night drew nigh, I grew more and more anxious because the next day I would be entering into the Magic Kingdom! I barely slept a wink!!! I was up at daybreak fully dressed and ready to embark upon the journey of a lifetime!
You can read more about the infamous pink track suit here!
Everyone was dressed and it was time to G-O! As we neared the park I was overwhelmed with joy!!!
Within minutes we were in the park and on the shuttle... It's amazing to watch your dream unfold before your very eyes!
So a SUV, shuttle ride and a monorail later....We were ready to let the memories begin!
I am not sure how it happened, however, from this point until the moment that I entered the park I transformed into a five year girl! Mr. Falsetto said that he had to assume the role of a father because I was all.over.the.place! I don't remember that LOL! I was totally engrossed in the moment!!! How could I not be... Our park visit was kicked off with a street parade!
I stood on the sidewalk on the corner and I could not have gotten a more clear view! Here are a few more of my favorite character shots...
I had a blast... I even danced in the street with Donald Duck!
We had a fast pass to meet Mickey and Minnie and a few of the Disney princess! The time had come and boy oh boy--- I could have not been any happier!
Next we were off to ride a few rides, enjoy treats and meet more Disney personalities!
The runaway train was amazing... but the lines were super long... Oops! I almost forgot... In the midst of the Disneyness I finally made my way to the castle and managed to catch a show!
And just like that... our time at the Magic Kingdom was coming to a pause... But not before I met this Disney Princess!
So, they drug me out of the park and back to the villas to sit back, relax and get ready for what would be the most magical night of my life!
{How ironic! I will tell you why later}!
